Charming guest house in Umbria - Italy

Built on the edge of a mediaeval Umbrian town high above the farmland is a charming guest house belonging to an Austrian owner married to an Italian whose home is in the old town centre. There is just a door in a stone wall to be seen from the old cobbled street. A Moroccan-style covered entrance gives access to a secret garden with the cottage to the right. The living, dining and kitchen are open-plan, reminiscent of Provence, 2 bedrooms are bright and light each with a feature coloured wall and pretty small-scale furniture. Family and guests are treated to grand style in miniature, the town with its excellent restaurants is just a few steps away and a peaceful garden in which to relax in the sun or shade.
