1950's bungalow in the Cotswolds

This is the deceptively spacious and practical family home of furniture designer and maker Dominic Ash and his wife Kate. The couple bought the property which is a pleasant half an hour's walk through the woods from Dominic's woodworking workshop in the Cotswolds, around ten years ago. Originally an unremarkable 1950's bungalow situated on a hillside, the building underwent a radical facelift, creating a spacious open living area along with additional bedrooms.
