Victorian Rectory in Surrey

The moment experienced renovator, Cassia Bardoe, spotted a lacklustre Victorian rectory, she couldn’t wait to transform it with her own signature style. Cassia had recently converted a coach house into a family home but, despite recognising this would be her most ambitious project to date, the energetic interior designer remained unfazed, relishing the opportunity to enhance the period features of this historic property while retaining its integrity. 'Given time, patience and vision, I knew instinctively that the end result would be worth it and that, one day, it would be a fabulous family home,’ says Cassia. 'It’s a wonderful location, right in the heart of the country but, conveniently, just a few minutes’ drive from Guildford city centre where I run my interior design business and shop,’ Cassia says.
