18th Century farm and stable building

When set designer Roger Hall and his wife, Caroline, bought a tumbledown cluster of crumbling barns, stables and farm buildings in 2001, Roger immediately took charge of the renovation. ‘You don’t often find farm buildings with as much architectural attention paid to them,’ he said. He saw the potential to build the perfect family home and was adamant that that should include a big living space around the kitchen.
