Contemporary house near Victoria Park in London

German architect Patricia Westerburg has been living in London for more than 10 years, most of it in edgy and trendy East London. She shares the modern and contemporary house near Victoria Park with her husband Dan (who is also an architect) and daughter Lena (10) and son Leo (5). The house is in close proximity to the London 2012 Olympic site. Patricia has been working in a number of architectural practices in London over the years and has been involved in both residential and commercial projects. Patricia and Dan originally tried to find a piece of land to build their own home according to their own designs. To find that perfect piece of land proved to be impossible but they were lucky to meet the developer of their current home when the project was still in its planning stages. The couple bought into the project and were able to bring changes to the design to meet the requirements of a young family.
