Highly individual New York apartment in 1920's building

Interior designer Nadia Ghaleb grew up in California and having started her own fashion business in her twenties, she became friendly with Michael and Tina Chow and subsequently worked for them in their LA restaurant business for many years. Fifteen years ago, shortly after the LA earthquake she moved with her young son to New York where she has built up a successful interior design business. She manages each project herself and is currently working on several - an apartment in the UN building, houses in upstate New York and a modernist replacement house on Malibu - the previous house having burnt down in the bush fires. These pictures are of her own highly individual apartment in a Manhattan block designed by an Italian architect during the 1920's.
