Luxury spa and game retreat in South Africa

Molori was built as a private holiday home set in the 75,000 hct in Madikwe concession along the Botswana border in South Africa. Conceived by the owner as a fishing and game lodge for friends and family he was the driving force behind the design. Using local people and materials for the construction he asked Stephen Falcke to advise on the interiors and furnishing. Together they shopped in South Africa, Europe and Asia. They mixed custom-made sofas with Italian design pieces, African craft and designer rugs. Both the living areas and bedroom suites feature walls of glass that open up all the rooms to the outside while soaring thatched roofs are both traditional and luxurious. Although available to rent Molori feels like a fabulous private home with views across miles of bush and accessed by small aircraft via a bush landing strip. http://www.molori.co.za/
